International Engagement Coordinator Position at UW-Madison

International Student Services (ISS) seeks a passionate international educator and outgoing person to contribute to our international student engagement and transitions team. The team is responsible for the year-round planning, coordination, and assessment of ISS engagement events and co-curricular activities, including welcome events for new students, transition events for graduating students, and myriad social, cultural, and academic-adjacent opportunities for enrolled students.

This individual will design and implement a student peer mentorship program to cultivate leadership skills and inclusive engagement between U.S. and international students. This individual will also advise the Wisconsin International Student Association (WISA) and serve as point-of-contact for ten or more registered student organizations affiliated with ISS. Affiliated student organizations are eligible to apply for grant money for events and activities on campus and in the community which promote global awareness.
