The DEI Director leads the development, implementation and assessment of proactive diversity, equity and inclusion programming and initiatives to foster a supportive International Division (ID) culture where all have an opportunity to succeed. The director will: a) lead the development of an effective strategy to help focus the ID leadership team’s work on issues related to diversity, equity and inclusion; b) support key internal initiatives and trainings; and c) coordinate with campus stakeholders including the ID Equity and Diversity Committee (EDC), the Division of Diversity Equity and Educational Achievement (DDEEA), and others.
