The Project Manager for the Southeast Asian Language Council (SEALC) is a 50% position at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The project manager has primary responsibility for day-to-day administration of SEALC programs and management of the funded project, Professional and Materials Development to Strengthen Southeast Asian Language Instruction. This project is a five-year, extramurally-funded effort to professionalize the field of SE Asian language teaching in the United States by offering training workshops to expand the expertise of language teachers and by supporting opportunities to create national standards, assessment tools, and instructional resources for Southeast Asian language programs. The SEALC Project Manager is a fixed term, terminal position that will extend to August 14, 2024.
