Who: Anyone interested in learning basic Hindi words and phrases and about Indian culture. Must be 18+ to participate.

“A Taste of Hindi” offers an exciting introduction to the Hindi language and the common linguistic, social trends and practices in North India and Pakistan.  Come join us on this journey with guest scholars to learn about Hinglish, Bollywood, and the foods and cuisines of India, which includes a hands-on group cooking class and dinner party (daavat) on the final day of the course!

The class will be led by Mithilesh Mishra, a long-time instructor of Hindi language and Indian culture, who also possesses a special talent for cooking Indian cuisine.
