SASLI welcomes students from varied backgrounds to apply for summer study. Applicants do not need to currently be in an academic course of study to be eligible for the program.
Students who are currently enrolled at any institution must be in good standing at that home institution at the time of application and remain in good standing through the SASLI program.
We encourage interested applicants to review our Policy on External Commitments and the SASLI Absence Policy prior to submitting an application.
Those under the age of 18 should review our Minor Student Eligibility Policy to determine their eligibility. Eligible applicants under the age of 18 will be required to go through a special review process prior to any admission decisions by SASLI. Interested applicants are encouraged to reach out to SASLI as early as possible to discuss these application procedures.
Once at SASLI, students will be enrolled in two semesters of language study. Students must receive a passing grade in their first semester at SASLI (in either a 1st, 3rd, or 5th semester course) in order to move to the second half of the program.
