Congratulations on being accepted to receive the SASLI Fee Remission! Please read through the following before completing the acceptance form:
Remaining Fees: You will be responsible for the remaining tuition balance and all other program and segregated fees assessed by UW-Madison, so please check your student financial account to ensure you have no outstanding fees. You are responsible for the costs of textbooks and other expenses incurred.
Course cancelation: In the event that your first choice for a language/level is canceled, you can apply this award to your second choice or another language at SASLI. Please indicate your choice on the acceptance form.
Expectations: You must maintain your registration and study for the entire period, or you may be liable for repayment of this award. You are expected to devote full-time to your summer study. For this reason, employment or concurrent appointments are not recommended.
Other funding: If you receive tuition support from another institution, the total support cannot exceed the $5000 SASLI tuition cost. Please contact sasli@lpo.wisc.edu if this is the case, and we can adjust your Fee Remission total. The SASLI $1000 Fee Remission cannot be combined with this award.
In addition, if you receive a FLAS, Boren, Project GO, or other funding after you accept this fee remission, we can work with you to cancel this fee remission so that you can receive the award that best suits your needs.
SASLI 2024 Fee Remission Response
This form is required for the Fee Remission to be applied to your tuition account for SASLI 2024. If you are declining this offer, please email sasli@lpo.wisc.edu to indicate the reason.
